The house a 1990’s Strata 3 storey property, the staircase was painted in white with softwood spindles.
They wanted a very modern light, glass and oak design.The staircase was stripped all the way back leaving just the tread and risers, we added new newel posts from bottom working upwards for health and safety reasons, cladding of strings and false landing joist in oak veneer and trimmed in solid American white oak.
Bespoke 10mm toughened glass panels fitted using brushed stainless steel glass clamps onto hand and base rails, all new skirting boards were fitted on each quarter landing. This 3 storey staircase benefits from the newels post flying to finish it off.
